Due to an upturn in business, a well-regarded HNW wealth management firm is seeking to hir FIVE PARAPLANNERS to support their Financial Planning department. This is an EXCITING OPPORTUNITY to join a boutique investment company. You will be working alongside and liaising with Financial Planners and Advisors, understanding client needs and devising research solutions to fulfil these. You will be drafting clear and succinct client reports to inform of any potential risks, and provide conclusions and sound recommendations to mitigate and avoid these risks. We are seeking someone with previous experience as a bespoke paraplanner, with very strong technical knowledge.
Duties of the Paraplanner to include:
- Responsible for producing and delivering compliant, high-quality and timely advice to Financial Planners and Clients.
- Ensure that best practice ideas are shared amongst the team by working proactively with the Paraplanning Manager and the wider team. This will enable you to highlight any suggestions for improvements to processes, templates and tools used, to ensure that the team can constantly improve upon their delivery of excellent client advice.
- Attend client meetings and interact with clients when appropriate.
- Delivering accurate and well-written reports and advice to agree deadlines, and ensuring that other contributors provide their necessary input on time, where necessary.
- Working to continually expand your professional knowledge by investigating new developments in the tax, legal and planning world.
Requirements for the successful Paraplanner candidate:
- CII Diploma in Financial Planning or equivalent
- Previous experience as a paraplanner, providing bespoke advice to complex clients who often have multiple need areas
- Strong technical knowledge; including calculations of Annual Allowance, Carry Forward, Bond Surrender, CGT etc
