A trailblazing investment management firm is seeking an Assistant Investment Manager to join them on their journey to develop their Impact Investments. We are seeking candidates with previous private market experience, who are passionate about making a difference for people and the planet.
Duties of the Assistant Investment Manager to include:
- Responsible for overseeing the delivery of the impact offering. This will involve engagement with private markets, regulatory products, and investment risks.
- Designing and implementing the impact investment process. This will include strategy development procedures such as market mapping, defining the investment strategy and identifying the most suitable structure.
- Supporting with growing the initiative, attending client pitches and collaborating with external partners that may co-invest. You will also be sourcing preliminary impact investment opportunities and developing these relationships.
- Conducting due diligence and financial analysis on companies to assess opportunities for investments.
- Building relationships across the wider organisation, collaborating with other departments to assist with strategy implementation.
- Assist with building impact reporting as part of monitoring the investments.
Requirements for the successful Impact Investment Manager applicant:
- Strong private markets experience
- Ability to understand and interpret business and impact strategy within the context of a values-led private market enterprises.
- Strong background of project and/or product development.
- A professional background, or demonstrable personal interest in impact investments or sustainability.
- Educated to degree level (or equivalent) and achieved financial qualifications (such as CFA or ACCA)
