Due to exciting growth and development, a boutique financial services company based in the City is seeking a Credit Cards and Payments Strategy Manager with expert knowledge of payment flows, card strategies and third party card relationships. You will be responsible for the supporting the delivery of transformation changes across the card products from a technical perspective.
Duties of the Credit Cards / Payments Strategy Manager to include:
- Co-ordinating and managing relationships with key industry suppliers, ensuring that any mandated or regulated changes are considered and communicated across the organisation and with stakeholders. Liaising with card related vendors with regards to day to day escalations, product updates and issues that will impact customers.
- Overseeing internal Card and Payment forums, ensuring that all related activity is handled appropriately and in a cohesive manner.
- Working to deliver business readiness, ensuring handover from project to operational BAU is completed within agreed warranty periods.
- Working within the team to enable the execution of all customer tasks. You will act as the point of reference for colleagues and will assist with any queries or questions as and when needed.
- Leading on tasks, providing solutions, and suggesting process improvements, whilst simultaneously working flexibly alongside other leaders in the organisation.
- Ensuring that all incidents are recorded in the Incident Management System and reviewed and analysed.
- Help oversee card related projects and changes. This includes for example, card chip setting parameters, dispatch procedures, stock management, security rules, escalations and incidents and card related engineering developments.
- Have subject matter expertise in card transactions, transaction processing, and related card products.
Requirements for the ideal candidate:
- At least three years professional experience in an Operational / technical card-based role.
- Experience of key VISA areas such as SCA, CHIP encryption.
- Competent awareness of retail banking products.
- Experience of leading a team
