A fantastic new opportunity has arisen to join a leading financial institution in the heart of the City as they seek a Finance Manager to join their team on a permanent, full-time basis. You will be responsible for all aspects of financial control and client money, and we are seeking candidates with exceptional CASS experience, who have previously held the CASS operational oversight certification function. This is a very exciting opportunity to join a dynamic environment, offering the right candidate the direct oversight of the Finance and Operations within an international bank and trading house.
Duties of the Finance Manager to include:
- Responsible for maintaining the company’s accounts and all internal and external reporting. This will include financial statements, FCA financial returns, processing expenses etc.
- Hold the certification function CASS Operational Oversight
- Prepare and maintain CASS resolution packs and client money procedures.
- Review and validate FCA regulatory financial returns (including FSA001, FSA002, COREP)
- Monitoring the Operations departments and organizing regular MI reports.
- Budget forecasting and monitoring actual costs to budget.
- Liaising with tax advisors in preparation of corporation tax returns.
Requirements for the successful Finance Manager candidate:
- High level of knowledge of CASS. Previously holding theCASS operational oversight certification function would be highly desirable
- ACCA part-qualified or newly qualified
- Good knowledge of IFRS, VAT and corporate tax
- Strong Excel skills
- Over 5 years’ experience within financial services, and demonstrable experience within a similar role
