A fantastic new opportunity has arisen to join a boutique wealth management firm in Glasgow as they seek an experienced Senior Financial Planner to join their team. You will be responsible for building and maintaining new and existing client relationships and providing clients with exceptional advice and service. You will be working closely alongside Investment Managers assisting with their growth strategy and ensure that the quality of advice and service is to the highest standard. We are seeking candidates with CII Level 6 with strong industry and investment knowledge.
Duties of the Senior Financial Planner:
- Ensuring clients are advised on the most appropriate product or service for their circumstances. You will also be responsible for ensuring clients are charged fairly and that the number of clients being handled does not exceed capacity.
- Contributing to business growth by participating in marketing initiatives, cross-departmental collaboration to encourage the introduction of clients and providing high-quality compliant advice.
- Managing risk by maintaining working knowledge of legislative and regulatory requirements.
- Ensuring complete and timely records are made of all interactions with clients and that documentation satisfies any requirements of any investment, pension, legislative or compliance changes.
Requirements for the successful Senior Financial Planner:
- Level 6 Chartered Financial Planner
- Previous experience within Financial Planning in wealth management.
- Remaining up-to-date with knowledge though reading updates, attending industry events etc
- Educated to University degree level or equivalent
