A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join a rapidly expanding City based Trading House, as they are seeking a Statutory Reporting Manager to join their Financial and Regulatory Reporting team. In this role you will be responsible for the European and APAC statutory accounts process, including preparation, implementation, coordination and oversight. We are seeking experienced and fully qualified candidates to act as a key contact for the wider Finance team, and to assist with a range of technical accounting matters and regulatory reporting
Duties of the Statutory Reporting Manager to include:
- Primary ownership of the company’s European and APAC entities statutory accounts process.
- Supporting with a range of matters including, but not limited to: quarterly dividend process, integration of newly acquired entities, regulatory reporting, interim accounts, performing cash forecasts and monitoring adequate capital headroom
- Coordinating the external audit process. This will involve ownership of the timetable for European and APAC entities, involving liaison with multiple auditors.
- Supporting the Financial and Regulatory Reporting team with preparing board and committee materials, supporting quarterly dividend cycles and producing financial reports.
- Providing technical support with integration of new entities and corporate transactions and acquisitions.
- Monitoring and reporting on risk metrics for regulatory and board reporting purposes
Requirements for the successful candidate:
- Recognized professional qualifications (such as ACA, CIMA or ACCA) is essential
- Strong previous experience of UK and US GAAP analysis
- Previous experience of integration and acquisition, especially with regards to overseas entities and GAAPS highly desirable
- Previous financial services experience would be preferrable
