A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join a leading boutique professional services company in London as they seek an Accounts Officer to provide all round support. You will be responsible for supporting Senior Accountants, supporting them on fee sheet management, fee recording and working alongside the Creative division to set up projects in line with contracts. We are seeking candidates with accounting experience (payable / receivable), and someone who is driven, personable and professional. Duties of the Accounts Officer to include:
- Assist the Senior Revenue Accountant in managing fee sheets, including matching postings and forecasting in the finance system.
- Investigate and agree on regional revenue allocations in collaboration with finance colleagues globally.
- Contribute to the management of the project life cycle, ensuring adherence to contracts and proper project set-up.
- Support the Creative division by chasing timesheet completion on projects and implementing changes as agreed with Project Managers, specifically related to revenue recognition and billing milestones.
- Execute month-end postings and reconciliations according to the agreed detailed month-end timetable.
Requirements for the successful candidate:
- Numerical and Analytical Acumen: Proficient with numbers, figures, and possesses strong analytical skills.
- Accounting Expertise: Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles, especially in the context of revenue recognition.
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail and the ability to build relationships with clients
- Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics highly beneficial
