Due to rapidly expanding business needs, a fantastic opportunity has arisen for 3 Tac Managers to join a prestigious Wealth Management firm in Liverpool. heir Trusts function. in their Liverpool office. You will be responsible for providing both personal tax compliance and advisory services to clients through managing a portfolio and supporting the team. It is essential that candidates are fully CTA Qualified
Responsibilities of the Tax Manager to include:
- Personal Tax Compliance & Advisory Services: Provide comprehensive personal tax compliance and advisory services, effectively managing a diverse portfolio of individual clients.
- Portfolio Management: Oversee a portfolio of personal tax compliance accounts, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of services.
- Support to Tax Director: Assist the Tax Director in delivering expert advice on UK income tax, capital gains tax, inheritance tax, and matters of residence and domicile.
- Client Planning & Advisory: Identify and advise on strategic planning opportunities for clients, particularly during tax return reviews and other relevant communications.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with the team to meet deadlines and exceed client expectations.
- Teamwork & Delegation: Work well within a team, delegating tasks efficiently to junior team members.
- Work-In-Progress (WIP) Management: Manage WIP effectively, including setting and meeting client expectations, ensuring recoverability, proposing fees, invoicing, and timely cash collection.
- Risk Management: Demonstrate strong risk management skills, particularly in client acceptance and engagement processes.
- Technical & Market Awareness: Stay informed about technical and market developments, ensuring up-to-date knowledge and practices.
Requirements for the successful Tax Manager to include:
- Fully qualified Chartered Tax Adviser (CTA) is essential
- A degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant field.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and multitasking ability.
- Knowledge of tax law and regulations.
- Proficiency in tax software and related systems.
- A commitment to delivering outstanding client service.
