A new opportunity has arisen within a specialist banking group in Central London for a Compliance Manager on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring ongoing compliance monitoring and reporting of risk across the business. This is a newly created position working directly alongside the Head of the department to ensure compliance monitoring frameworks are successfully implemented across the bank. Candidates must have strong compliance monitoring and regulations (PRA/FCA) experience from a banking background – this role will assume the position of Deputy MLRO.
Duties will include;
· Prepare and complete the annual Compliance Risk Assessment
· Draft and execute the Compliance Monitoring Plan
· Tracking issues through to closure
· Full ownership of complaints and management of complaint process
· Agree and execute Compliance Annual Training Plan
· Ensure the compliance manual is up to date
· Complete projects when required
To be considered for this excellent opportunity, candidates must have previous compliance management experience gained from either a banking or financial services environment. You will demonstrate a sound knowledge of the PRA/FCA handbook and all FCA/AML requirements. Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), sound IT skills and a keen eye for detail are also essential to this role.
