A specialist, well respected banking group based in Central London is currently looking to appoint an experienced Credit Officer. The role sits within the Asset Finance Division with crossover to the Mortgage Department of the bank where you will be required to analyse, manage risk and assist in underwriting new and existing asset finance proposals. The role will also involve supporting senior management with deteriorating loans and asset recovery to include regularly monitoring and reporting of assets on their watch/recovery list.
Duties to include:
· Supporting the underwriting of new and existing Asset Financing proposals
· Credit Quality Assurance, Risk Reviews and Credit Processes.
· Ensure effective deployment of Credit Risk Policies and Processes
· Manage all credit lines, including timely annual reviews, customer limits, supplier limits
· Assisting with recovery of impaired assets including regular monitoring and reporting of watch/recovery list.
The successful candidate must have experience working within a credit risk function of Asset Finance and be educated to adegree level or equivalent.
