An exciting new opportunity has arisen at a trading house based in London City for a Technical Account Manager with strong IT & Systems skills to join their rapidly expanding technology team. The successful candidate will be responsible for walking trading floors - building and developing customer relationships and act as the dedicated point of contact for all ongoing technical queries. Candidate must have had experience with energy, oil and softs (options and futures) trading.
Duties will include:
· Regularly walking trading floors and being main point of contact
· Maintaining a good relationship with all stakeholders
· Coordinating development management of ISVs & Member Developers
· Addressing and advising on all customer technical-related queries
· Working with all departments to create change and improvement
· Ensuring product roll outs happen on time
· Candidate must have had experience with energy, oil and softs (options and futures) trading
· Organising launches and upgrades of relevant software
To be considered for this position, candidates will be educated to a degree level (preferably in computer science or a numerical discipline) and have at least 4 years’ experience in a similar role. The successful candidate will also have very strong IT skills, especially in trading software, and proven communication skills. Candidate must have had experience with energy, oil and softs (options and futures) trading.
