Due to rapid expansion a specialist international bank with offices in London and Cheshire seeks a trade finance analyst to join their team in Northwich. The successful candidate MUST have experience working in a trade finance department of a banking group; this is a fantastic opportunity to take the next step in your career.
Duties to include:
· Assess and respond to Trade Finance enquires and applications.
· Prepare & verify SWIFT messages.
· Manage foreign & sterling payments (CHAPS), account reconciliation and monitoring currency risk.
· Issue letters of credit and process payments.
· Liaise with customers to resolve discrepancies.
· Assist in the development of new products in line with business need.
· Prepare monthly reports and statistics for management.
To apply for this role, candidates MUST have previous experience in trade finance and the banking sector, and be comfortable communicating with a range of clients and other banks. Candidates with CDCS qualifications will be at a distinct advantage.
