- Due to rapid expansion a fantastic opportunity has arisen within a Central London based specialist banking group for a DEPOSITS MANAGER (deputy to the Head of Department). Candidates must have several years' experience across deposits and savings products to include strong banking regulations knowledge coupled with at least four years' experience managing a team within a retail banking environment.Duties to include:
" Day to day back office administration of deposits" Setting up customers and account records" Dealing with payments and transfers, account opening and closing - completing all due diligence of new customers" Verifying and authorising the work of junior administrators" Deputising for the Head of the department as and when necessary" Preparing and inputting daily transactions into the banking system" Provide excellent customer service dealing with enquiries quickly and efficiently" Ad-hoc work as requiredSuccessful Candidates will have:" Excellent general banking experience" Previous experience in deposits essential" Previous supervisor experience is essential" Sound knowledge of banking regulations relating to deposits
