- City-based international bank is recruiting for a Commodity Trade Finance Analyst with a sound technical knowledge. Applications are welcome from those with either vanilla or commodity trade finance backgrounds. Duties will include:
" The opening and closing of import Letters of Credit
" Processing Letters of Guarantee / collections
" 1st and 2nd checking of documentation
" Acceptance/payment of documents presented by SWIFT
" Ensuring all transactions are processed and settled to deadlines
" Liaison with Relationship Managers and customers regarding transactions and/or approvals.
Applicants must demonstrate solid Trade Finance processing experience and a thorough understanding of UCP600 and trade finance products to include import and export LCs, guarantees and collections. Possession of the CDCS qualification would be highly desirable.
