- A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Events Administrator to join an award winning law firm in the City for a 12 month contractual period. This is an opportunity to work within the events team that host up to 300 events per year. Working in a team of 11, this role reports into the Senior Events Manager and you will be required to work on events from inception through to evaluation.
Duties to include:
· Maintaining keeping the event schedule, budget spreadsheet and team’s database.
· Coordinating room bookings
· Assisting with the set up for events
· Liaising with Catering, Audio Visual, Security, Facilities etc.
· Organising invitation mailings, processing RSVPs, chasing outstanding responses.
· Assisting the production of printed materials required for events such as brochures, table plans and menu preparation.
· Maintaining attendee lists and production of name badges etc.
· Attending events, meeting and greeting clients, as required.
· Updating the events CRM database post event information.
· Coordinating evaluation feedback when required.
Applicants to this role must demonstrate recent, relevant events administration and organisation experience preferably gained within the professional services sectors. You will have impeccable organisation skills, strong IT skills (Word, Excel and PowerPoint), excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to work to deadlines and under pressure. A flexible approach to work, enthusiasm and a creative flair are essential to this role. Applicants must have a polished appearance and be willing to work outside normal working hours of 09.30am -17.30pm, as required.
