Following a period of rapid expansion, one of the fastest growing & most talked about global FinTechs requires a Payments Operations specialist with Team Leader experience. You will report into the team manager and will assist in the day to day running of the team.
Team Leader duties –
- Provide hands-on cover to the payments operations team and assist with daily processing tasks
- Prioritize the teams workflow - ensure all cut-off times are adhered to
- Build relationships with senior stakeholders within the business to ensure BAU efficiency
- Assist with the development of junior members of staff
- Ensure operational risks are identified and reported to the Manager
The Payments Operations team is responsible for -
- Ensuring all transactions are processed accurately and to deadlines (by SWIFT, SEPA, BACS)
- Identify and escalate all systems and processing issues to Manager
- Investigation of queries and resolution of errors
- Collaborate with the Treasury and Dealing teams to ensure processing efficiency
- Liaise with the Reconciliations team to ensure all abnormalities are addressed
To be considered for this exciting new opportunity applicants MUST have previous Team Leader experience gained within Back office / payments processing environment. Candidates must be able demonstrate a detailed knowledge of inward and outward clearing procedures to include SWIFT and SEPA payments.
