A fantastic opportunity has arisen within a one of the fastest growing specialist banks in Central London for an Operations & Business Improvement specialist to join them on a permanent basis. The purpose of the role is to drive continuous operational improvement within specialist Mortgage Operations through the analysis of MI in order to make data-driven decisions. The successful candidate must have a deep knowledge of Mortgage lending and will also play a key role in the implementation of a new front-end system as part of a wider change programme.
Key responsibilities -
- Oversight on all operational projects, take the lead on system testing, resolution of Operational Risk Issues and Procedure design / implementation
- Establish, measure and make key recommendations from a range of MI / Data Analytics
- Develop relationships with key stakeholders, act as point of contact between the IT department and the rest of the business
- Demonstrate effective communication skills with the ability to liaise with staff up to Board level and the strength of character to influence other and challenge ideas
- Use best practice business tools to document business process models
- Ensure the system implementation project runs smoothly
- Assist with systems testing and process analysis
You will have experience of:
- End to end knowledge of the mortgage process from enquiry to redemption
- Evidence of achieving Operational efficiencies through effective management of change initiatives / projects
- Managing UAT for a mortgage business
- Making appropriate recommendations from a range of MI / Data Analytics
- Identifying and documenting change
