- Boutique City based Investment House is seeking to recruit a Corporate Actions Officer. Working within a small and supportive team, the successful candidate will be responsible for a range of duties covering the lifecycle of Corporate Actions processing to include:
" Obtaining all notices of dividends and corporate actions in advance of ex-date
" Screening event data where provided from more than one source and enter data into internal systems
" Advising clients of preliminary and final corporate actions information in advance of ex-date
" Calculating entitlements and obtain residency declarations and election choices where appropriate from clients, and process responses.
" Making same declarations and elections on behalf of clients to fund providers or their agents
" Processing final events on ex-date and pay date, advising clients of details
" Maintaining accurate records of all income received and to ensure that income is paid in compliance with all tax regulations and provide internal reporting for tax declaration/payment purposes
" Reconciling and clearing cash or unit differences as a result of an event including late payment of dividends
" Processing tax reclaims from clients
To be considered for this role candidates MUST have previous corporate actions experience and wish to continue to develop a career within this field. Applicants must demonstrate excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail and the ability to work to deadlines.
