PROJECT MANAGER – (KENT)
To £53K + EX BENS + EX BONUS
Kent based financial institution is seeking to recruit a Project Manager to strengthen their operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of project work including definition, planning, resourcing and implementation. An pro-active individual, accountable for creating or modifying workflows and procedural documentation in addition to identifying and resolving risks or issues in order to ensure the success of projects.
The key purpose of the role is to support the delivery and resourcing of the allocated change pipeline and analysis work that is required to ensure effective delivery against an agreed programme and timeline. Key responsibilities include ensuring that robust and accurate plans are developed from a timeline, resource and cost perspective to delivery against the agreed objectives and project scope to a successful implementation, ensuring understanding of business change needs and assessing the impact and risk of those changes providing effective communication channels
Also providing direction, governance and oversight to all key stakeholders and project work streams leads and support functions..
The role holder will be required to work hand in hand with business sponsors, programme, business analysts and key stakeholders/work streams leads, process owners & developers internally and externally on multiple initiatives concurrently on various scale projects and larger scale change initiatives and programmes.
Applicants must demonstrate previous experience in managing business projects (including systems development/implementation) on time and within budget, gained within a professional services environment.
Candidates must be educated to degree level, or equivalent and possess a formal project management qualification (Prince2, PMI, APM). An excellent opportunity to join this leading market player!
