- A boutique lender based in the West End is seeking to recruit a Business Systems Manager on a permanent basis. The company has doubled in size within the last 2 years and require an IT specialist to develop and deliver a business-technology road-map for an exciting range of new business systems which will ensure the rapidly evolving business achieves its key objectives. This role would suit a candidate from a PM / BA background who enjoys working in fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
Duties to include:
• Works with the business to drive continuous improvement enabled by IT solutions, finding opportunities to use technology to impact business service strategies and economic performance.
• Drives strategic partnerships and manages the development of technology road-maps to influence business transformation.
• Communicate technical and business concepts, ideas and conclusions. Uses an understanding of the latest technology to assess and propose technical strategies for the business.
• Works with business stakeholder groups to define and validate system requirements - assist with functional specifications and system design specifications
• Take a lead on various projects, applying business analysis expertise to understand requirements, shape initial requests, and provide estimates of effort and cost.
• Manages suppliers to deliver quality solutions & implement effective support regimes
• Builds strong professional relationships and influences stakeholders, colleagues and suppliers
To be considered, applicants will be technology enthusiast, capable of creating and promoting a concise technology vision at board level and be familiar with System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) concepts. Financial services experience is essential for this role - candidates who come from a mortgage lending background preferred!
