- Description
- A specialist lender based in Central London is seeking to hire a Finance Director on a permanent basis to lead the finance function as the company embarks on the next stage of their growth. With ambitious growth plans for 2019, this is a critical hire in which the successful candidate will be responsible for advising the board on all finance matters, providing leadership in implementing the company’s finance and accounting strategy. The successful candidate will have a financial services background (ideally specialist lending) and broad experience covering Audit, Financial Reporting, FP&A, Treasury and Structured Finance.
Duties to include:
- Responsible for the management of finance function with 4 direct reports & advising the board on all finance matters
- Responsible for all aspects of the group reporting,(external, regulatory, audit and tax)
- Ensuring regular updates on financial performance of the group to the Board and Executive team
- Ensuring profitability and control targets are met & implementing strategy to support growth ambitions (e.g. 5 year plan)
- Review and improvement of finance processes and controls
- Oversee the Treasury & Cash Management - Implementing policy and cash flow management across multiple funding lines
To be considered, applicants will be ACA / ACCA qualified (10 year PQE) with experience gained within financial services, ideally mortgage lending, in a regulated environment. This role will suit a strategic thinker with experience of successfully influencing and directing strategic development at a senior level.
