- A unique opportunity has arisen within a highly-regarded financial institution based in the City for a Conservator on a six month contractual basis. Working on a specific project the successful candidate will be responsible for conducting an inventory of holdings with a view to assisting with the removal and storage of collections in time for an upcoming refurbishment project.
Applicants will be required to be oversee collections-care operations to include the location, protection, remedial conservation and preservation of archival collections together with advising on best practice storage methods for mixed materials of conservation-grade.
Candidates should hold a relevant conservation and collections care qualification, or equivalent experience, with a current demonstrable track record of collections care and preventive conservation practice and inventory experience.
