- Fantastic opportunity has arisen within a City-based Investment Manager for a Senior Fund Operations Analyst with the IMC qualification. Working in a small team you will be have one direct report and will be responsible for supporting all tasks within operations with a sound knowledge of the trade lifecycle. This is an exciting opening for a Senior Fund Operations Analyst also to take a step into assisting the Fund Operations Manager with the day-to-day running of the team.
Responsibilities:
- Monitoring the trade lifecycle across financial products such as fixed income, equities and derivatives (Futures, Options, CFD’s).
- Settlement of trades in global markets for various Asset types
- Daily transaction, cash and position reconciliations for all products
- Settlements, Cash & Margin Management
- NAV reconciliations and investigations
- Issue resolution with Fund Administrators, Custodians and clearers
- Full understanding of Corporate Actions and processing through internal systems.
- Transaction reporting
- Good interpersonal skills
- Excellent attention to detail & work prioritisation
- High proficiency in excel (VBA preferred)
- Good knowledge of proprietary systems, Order Management systems and middle-back office systems
- Ability to process information quickly and under pressure
The successful candidate will ideally have around 5 years’ experience gained in a similar role within Asset Management or a Hedge Fund environment, together with the IMC qualification.
