- Description
- International Banking group City based, is looking for a dynamic individual looking to join their Securities Team. Ideally candidates will have a minimum of one years experience within a Treasury Department, covering FX/MM Settlements, SWIFT Payments processing, SWAPS processing or anything Securities related.
Key Responsibilities:
- Derivative Trade Processing
- Ensure confirmations are produced, authorised and issued to customers in a timely manner
- Completion of counterparty confirmations are monitored and chased until receipt, these are checked against company records, logged and accepted
- Confirmations with queries are raised with dealers or counterparty (as appropriate) and differences resolved in a timely manner – escalate all outstanding items over a certain period to management
- Continuous improvement of all processes and procedures and these are kept up to date at regular intervals
- Ensure that all transactions are booked correctly and checked/ authorized. These are checked against internal & external control records all through the day
- Ensure that the daily activity of trades is checked, reconciled and reported to management as required
- Ensure that all the static data are kept up to date
- As strong understanding of Microsoft Office suite to include; Excel and VBA.
