- A fantastic opportunity has arisen at a prestigious Bank in the City for a Switchboard Operator / Receptionist on a part time basis of 4 days per week. Working in a very professional, yet friendly and supportive environment you will be required to provide a first-class telephony and reception service to customers and the business. The team operate a shift rota basis whereby the core working hours will be Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday working either 8am to 4pm, 9pm to 5pm or 10am to 6pm according to the shift pattern.
Duties will include:
- Promptly and professionally answering and redirecting all calls using the switchboard system
- Meeting and greeting customers in a prompt, efficient and friendly manner and managing the visitor management system
- Booking / maintaining meeting rooms
- Organising refreshments and catering for events
- Maintaining Switchboard and Reception-related documents (extension lists etc.)
- Providing support to the Facilities Team where required
The successful candidate will be a personable, confident individual, will demonstrate impeccable organisational and communication skills with an excellent customer focus. Knowledge of switchboard systems and a confident, professional telephone manner is essential to this role.
