- Due to rapid expansion this boutique banking group specialising in property lending have a brand new opportunity. They are seeking a Senior Underwriter to join their Property Lending division. Candidate MUST have experience with leading a team AND have experience in property lending, particularly development finance, bridging finance and commercial lending.
Duties to include:
- Establish a customer-centric culture within the team, ensure all services and products are developed and designed in a manner which is appropriate to customer needs
- Ensure that all compliance policies and regulations adhered to
- Responsible for the ongoing development of your team providing training as required
- Liaising with internal departments (Legal, Risk and Sales) and external parties (Surveyors, Solicitors and Customers).
The successful candidate must have several years' experience within property underwriting and have strong management/decision making skills. The ideal candidate will be of Graduate calibre with experience managing small but successful Underwriting teams. This is a great opportunity to this rapidly expanding team.
