- A fantastic newly created opportunity has arisen within this leading specialist lender based in Central London for a Treasury Analyst on a permanent basis. You will be responsible for assisting the Treasury Accountant and senior Finance team with the management of funding lines -ensuring that the most efficient funding structure is utilised, producing all the associated reports. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Finance graduate with relevant funding experience gained within Treasury!
Duties include -
- Maintain control across the various loan facilities to ensure that facilities are adhered to and not breached.
- Regularly update loans database.
- Calculate funding requirements and request drawdown of funds on a daily basis.
- Calculate distribution of funds for each funding line as per facility agreements’ IPD process.
- Production of all regular & ad-hoc reporting required under the funding agreements.
- Check redemption statements and report on any discrepancies found.
- Review the financial and operational covenants.
- Update internal systems with financial data accurately.
- Gain an understanding of facilities documents, mortgage sale agreements, covenant requirements etc.
- Ensure that the Group complies with the terms of the mortgage sale agreements when transferring loans to funding lines.
- Reconcile discrepancies or errors identified by communicating with colleagues and or other stakeholders.
- Produce daily redemptions/part redemptions/completions and bank balances report.
This is a great opportunity a candidate with relevant Treasury / Funding experience, ideally gained within a mortgage lending environment. Candidates will ideally possess or be in the process of studying for a relevant finance qualification (AAT / CIMA), and must be able to thrive in a fast-paced working environment.
