- A fantastic opportunity has been created within a leading global trading firm based in the City. We are looking for an entrepreneurial leader to manage their institutional sales function globally. The role will work be focussed on executing sales strategies across the group’s suite of products – but the particular area of interest is a candidate with experience, knowledge and contacts within Hedge Funds and Family Offices. This is crucial to the role and candidates must be able to demonstrate their expertise in this area; in addition candidates must be able to prove their ability to manage, motivate and lead sales teams. The Global Head of Institutional Sales must hold exemplary client facing skills, strong leadership ability, and a background in selling.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
- Create a specific new initiative to target Hedge Funds & Family Offices
- Drive general institutional sales across the group globally
- Be an expert in the FX/CFD/Equity and financial technology landscape
- Anticipate competitive situations and navigate the sales team to win deals
- Be a spokesperson for the company
- Demonstrate ability to close deals while achieving a sales quota. This discipline will help facilitate pipeline development, train team members, and provide field experience that can be leveraged in strategic decision making.
- Drive large projects such as sales campaigns or product marketing initiatives that need longer term oversight.

- Travel as needed for client visits, internal meetings, conferences
