- Wealth Manager is seeking to recruit an Onboarding Officer on a six month fixed term contract with the possibility to be extended. This role will initially be based in Kent with plans to transfer to the City in December. The successful candidate will be responsible for the onboarding of new accounts to include offshore, HNW and complex structured clients and the ongoing review and maintenance of customer static data and documentation.
Duties to include:
- Completing customer due diligence / KYC
- Obtaining KYC information
- Gathering and verification of account opening documentation, completing relevant KYC and AML checks
- Inputting of account data on to the system and any data amendments
- Process share certificates and complete stock histories
- Account closures
- New account reviews
- Assist with regulatory reporting for FATCA CRS etc.
- Assist less experienced team members with queries, complex cases, checking of work, training and support
To be considered for the position applicants must have carried out a similar role within a financial institution and have a good knowledge of legislative and regulatory practices and procedures affecting the acceptance of new clients. Experience of dealing with offshore clients would be highly desirable.
