Global insurance group is and seeking to hire a qualified Management Accountant to their high-performing finance team on a permanent basis. The purpose of the role will be to prepare high-quality management accounting packs and to present financial information to senior stakeholders on a regular basis, therefore both accuracy analytical skills and strong communication skills are essential to this role.
You will be required to:
- Prepare monthly management accounting packs
- Present management accounts to senior management on a monthly basis
- Liaise with external auditors
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting
- Review and monitor support team and the quality of their work
- Identify trends and provide analytical insight
- Understanding of management accounts journals for entry into nominal ledgers
Knowledge and Requirements:
- ACA qualified (ACCA / CIMA considered)
- A solid understanding of cash flow & balance sheet reporting and profit and loss statements
- Strong IT skills – including MS Excel. Knowledge of CODA or Unit4 would be a bonus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to deliver information to non-native English speakers
