- An international bank based in Central London is looking to hire a Systems Analyst, who will have the responsibility of ensuring that the bank’s platform is available, performing and secure, while managing and upgrading legacy architectures, executing implementations and providing day to day support in managing all aspects of the bank's Desktop and server infrastructure.The role will also manage vendors which will support the existing infrastructure including server, storage, network, data and applications. The successful candidate will have a Qualification and Certificates in: “MCSA”, “MCSE”, “Network+” or above, “VMware vSphere: Install, Configure, Manage”. Candidates with programming and scripting skills are preferred.They will also:- Have experience in Microsoft infrastructure (for example, Domain and Active Directory, DNS, Group Policy, DHCP, able to work with powershell, NTFS permissions and Exchange etc.)- Have experience with Linux (able to prepare and configure a Linux system from scratch), with network storage and backup solutions (for example Netapp, veeam), and with Vmware.- Have programming and scripting skills.- Have experience in McAfee ENS, Splunk (for example, to ingest new logs, create queries and reports), Microsoft Sharepoint and SQL, and Invu.- Have experience with Adobe products (for example, Acrobat, Livecycle, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).The candidate will be able to act with a clear head in situations such as power-cuts or system failures, and will have good problem solving and organisational skills. They will be a natural communicator who will be able to work independently and as part of a team.
