- Due to a sustained period of growth, a fantastic opportunity has arisen within this Central London based Private Bank for a Mortgage / Loan Operations Associate. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out all administrative tasks in relation to loan facilities throughout the relevant term of the loan. Candidates must have gained experience working in loan administration / loan documentation at a financial services organisation.
Duties to include:
- Ensure loan documentation is efficiently prepared in a timely manner
- To assist with the maintenance of legal documentation ensuring they comply with the latest legislation and are maintained to the highest standard by regular reviews.
- Maintain a good understanding of Regulated Mortgage Contracts and Consumer Credit Act regulations.
- Provide quality assurance over the bank’s lending documentation and ensure errors or areas of weakness are resolved in a timely manner.
- Assist with embedding the bank’s Risk Management Framework through identifying and managing risks, by contributing to the department’s Risk Control Self Assessment process.
- Prepare and check all drawdown letters, interest confirmations and other documents issued to customers.
- Liaising with 3rd parties including solicitors & accountants, ensuring all documentation is processed accordingly.
- Monitor the progress of facilities which are due for maturity.
