- A position has arisen within a city-based wealth manager for a Custody Transfers Administrator on a contractual basis until June 2020 with a possibility of further extension. Working as a member of the Investment Operations team you arrange and instruct stock transfers for both equities and unit trusts and ensure their timely settlement. The successful candidate will also be required to communicate with customers and third parties. Duties to include:
" Processing of stock transfers into / out of client portfolios.
" Regular liaison with Clients/ Counterparties to ensure that transactions are booked correctly and settled on a timely basis
" Act as a point of contact for Client queries in relation to custody positions and transfers and providing regular updates on the progress or otherwise on the resolution of their issues.
" De-materialisation and re-materialisation of shares
" Assisting with the monthly reconciliation of security positions held, investigating discrepancies between in-house records and those of custodians
" Acting as a point of contact for queries from within the business
To be considered candidates for this role candidates will have:
" Previous recent relevant custody transfers experience
" Strong analytical and problem solving skills
" Good system skills
