- Description
- After a fantastic 2019, this specialist lender based in Central London is looking to expand their Lending Operations team with the addition of an Assistant Manager. It is a newly created position in which the successful candidate will support the Manager with the ongoing maintenance the loan portfolio, providing oversight of the primary and special servicing activity, as well as managing internal stakeholders and various 3rd party providers. Responsibilities
- Assisting the Manager on the everyday activity relating to the management of the lending portfolio;
- Work closely with external parties including surveyors, solicitors, administrators and property management companies to mitigate risk to our clients and ensure best resolution is achieved;
- Monitor activities undertaken by mortgage servicer responsible for the administration of all day to day activities on mortgage portfolios;
- Monitoring of expiring loans and recommending any appropriate action to ensure repayment;
- Continually review department processes and procedures to achieve maximum operational efficiency and ensure best practice;
- Identify and recommend improvements to processes and policies in line with business activity and changes in regulation.
To be considered for this newly created position, candidates must have an understanding of the mortgage lending lifecycle and will ideally have worked in a Collections / Customer Services environment within financial services. Degree educated candidates are preferred!
