- An exciting opportunity has arisen within a City-based challenger bank for a Regulatory Reporting Assistant to join their Finance Team. Working to support the Regulatory Reporting Accountant the successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with all regulatory returns, financial control as well as month-end, quarter-end and year-end processes.
Applicants will be educated to degree-level, or equivalent and will be part or fully-qualified ACCA, ACA or ACMA with some recent, relevant regulatory reporting experience gained in a similar environment.
You will be required to:
- Prepare daily reports (FX, LCR, NSFR, Daily Dashboard, ALMIS)
- Prepare monthly regulatory returns (C66, C67, C68, C69, C70, C71, LCR, PRA110)
- Prepare monthly returns (Own Funds, Leverage Ratio, Large Exposures, Net Stable Funding, Asset Encumbrance, FinRep, MLA, PSD)
- Prepare balance sheet analysis including variance analysis
- Review IFRS 9 ECL data back to balance sheet analysis
- Assist with project work to automat or semi-automate returns
- Prepare and circulate daily Capital and Liquidity reports internally
- Prepare daily deposits movements reconciliation and adjustment
- Prepare month-end and quarter-end adjustments
A keen attention to detail and strong Excel skills, together with previous regulatory reporting experience and IFRS exposure are essential to this role.
