- Description
- An excellent opportunity has arisen within an international bank based in Manchester for a Retail Manager. Reporting into the Branch Manager, you will be responsible for managing the people / budget across the Retail division and will also be tasked with exploring and cultivating new business opportunities. If you possess a strong retail banking background and can speak Cantonese fluently, please read on!
Duties –
- To explore new business opportunities and identify target customers.
- To manage resources including people and budget effectively / efficiently in order to achieve departmental and bank objectives.
- Promote a positive work culture by consistently demonstrating the core values of the Bank.
- To develop and retain a highly motivated team.
- To ensure branch operational activities run smoothly and efficiently.
- To oversee the procedures of the branch, including review the guideline issued by regulatory authorities.
- To prepare reports for Head Office.
- To assess bank risk in order to maintain the bank image and corporate policies.
- To agree challenging performance and development objectives for all reporting employees
To be considered for this new role, candidates must have a strong retail banking background (ideally Branch Manager level), possessing a strong knowledge of relevant retail banking products and services. Candidates must be fluent in Cantonese!
