- Rapidly expanding global trading house based in the City is seeking to recruit a FX Settlements & Payments Specialist to their Operations Team on a six-month fixed term contract. The role will involve all aspects of the FX payments operations function. To be considered for this role, candidates must have previous experience of processing FX trades and related payments to deadlines.
Duties will include:
- Processing of FX trades
- Inputting and verifying manual trades in SWIFT
- Managing and repairing trade / payment exceptions
- Ensuring FX payments and transactions are validated and released in an accurate and timely manner
- Ensuring that all FX confirmations are double checked and sent on time.
- Conducting pre-settlement investigations
- Liaising with front office, assisting with query resolution
- Checking and validating Reuters
Applicants will demonstrate effective team working abilities as well as experience in validating and processing FX trades and international payments. Sound knowledge of SWIFT Alliance and MS Office, a keen eye for detail and the ability to multitask are essential to this role.
