An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Underwriter to join a prestigious boutique lending bank based in Central London. The successful candidate will be responsible for working alongside the Underwriter for all new and existing Bridging Finance applications in line with the company lending policy. Candidates must ideally have some administrative underwriting experience within bridging finance, but other areas of property lending will be considered.
Duties to include:
- Assist in underwriting and approving loans against agreed lending criteria
- Handling broker calls on specific cases under review; manage customer expectations
- Liaising with internal departments (Legal, Risk and Sales) and external parties (Surveyors, Solicitors and Customers)
