A fantastic opportunity has arisen within a leading private bank based in the City, for SIX Customer Relations Officers to join their out of hours team. The purpose of the role will be to act as the 1st point of contact for customers over the phone dealing with queries, executing instructions and completing the relevant supporting paperwork.
Applications are welcome from those with previous experience delivering high levels of customer service experience gained within Financial Services industry (ideally private banking) with a keen attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks at once. Excellent numeracy skills and communication skills, both verbal and written are essential to this role.
Working pattern:
The successful candidates will be required to work on a shift rota basis the earliest shift starting at 7am and the latest finishing at 10pm, working 35 hours per week in total. The shifts are spread across Monday – Sunday and will include Bank Holidays.
Hybrid working will be available for this role with the successful candidates being required to work onsite for a minimum of 2 days per week, with the remainder working from home.
Responsibilities to include:
- Efficiently handing all customer contact identifying and assessing customer needs from account opening, account maintenance through to account closing, taking ownership of a customer request until completion
- Working closely with specialist teams to ensure resolution of customer requests
- Verification of customer requests by phone, electronically or in writing
- Assisting customers in the completion of payment instructions, processing / keying / verifying transfers and handing to Payments Team
- To respond to customer calls and in the absence of Relationship Managers
- Ensuring that KYC (Know your customer) documentation is completed and updated for customers and maintaining customer record information in CRM
- Ensuring due diligence is carried out on customers through verification of all customer instructions
