- Description
- Global Financial Services Institution is strengthening their BD Team in Payments Technology with the addition of a Business Development Manager. Focussing on the EMEA and APAC regions the successful candidate will be responsible for prospecting for new business and developing positive relationships with existing French-speaking clients.
Applicants will ideally be educated to degree-level with some Financial Services experience dealing directly with clients in a sales / pre-sales capacity.
What you will be doing:
- Working alongside various departments across the business to developing a sales pipeline and prospect for new business with French-speaking organisations
- Working closely with other teams within the organisation, especially Product, Marketing and Customer Success to share your frontline customer feedback in an effective and meaningful way
- Organising client meetings and conferences
- Building and maintaining an accurate understanding of the market
- Assisting with the onboarding of new accounts
- Providing support to clients alongside existing client support teams
- Providing support to team executives, as required
Requirements for the role:
- Previous work experience gained in a client-facing capacity ideally sales / pre-sales within Banking and Finance industry
- An understanding of payments technology, payments processing or international payments (SWIFT), would be highly desirable, but not essential
- Fluent French language skills (written and verbal)
- University undergraduate degree (2:1 or higher), or equivalent
- Proximity to London with the ability to travel abroad as necessary
- Excellent communication skills with a confident manner with clients
