- Description
- An expanding international banking group based in central London is seeking to strengthen it’s Real Estate Finance Team with the addition of a Relationship Support Manager with experience of Islamic Finance. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing support to Relationship Managers in developing existing relationships and supporting new business development. This is a fantastic opportunity for a candidate looking for an all-encompassing role within Property Lending with lots of client interaction. Applicants must be able to demonstrate strong credit skills.
Duties to include:
- Day-to-day client management and support
- Daily administration and monitoring of existing portfolio of real estate facilities
- Assist with progressing new property loan transactions, facility amendments and extensions
- Liaising with Credit Team and lawyers regarding loan documentation and loan execution
- Obtaining valuations
- Monitoring the progress on development projects and conducting site visits
- Conducting client and credit reviews
- Agency loans: liaising with all parties concerned and arranging monthly client drawdown requests. Ensuring all requests and information required are received and submitted in a timely manner in accordance with facility documentation
- Onboarding and KYC of new accounts
Requirements for the role:
- Relationship management support within the UK commercial real estate lending space
- Solid credit skills
- The ability to demonstrate and apply strong practical knowledge of Islamic banking
