- Exciting new opportunity to join this established International Banking Group based in the City for a LOANS ADMINISTRATOR, ideally with some experience of Islamic Finance on a 12-month fixed term contract. The successful candidate will be required to provide processing and operations support to the Lending function, to include setting up/renewals of new credit/lending facilities, payments (as instructed) and general back office administration support.
Duties to include:
- Processing payments
- Processing rollovers
- Nostro reconciliations
- Processing drawdowns – ensuring it is in accordance with facility agreement
- Processing rate fixings and advising Treasury Team of same
- Calculating and processing fees
- Dealing with new loan drawdowns and maturities
- Oversee control of loan processing and deal with participants and internal parties, answering queries
- Updating / maintaining all loan data into systems
- Processing of Islamic Finance mortgages to include payments and updating systems accordingly
Requirements for the role:
- Experience of loans administration working with commercial loan products
- Awareness of Islamic Finance mortgages, preferred
