URGENT REQUIREMENT. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Client Services Officer within Payment Operations to join a leading international bank in the City on a temporary basis until at least the end of December 2022. The purpose of the role will be to assist with payments operations as well as providing a client/front office facing service to deal with queries.
Duties to include:
- Processing, authorisation and settlement of payments (to include SWIFT and SEPA) for various banking operations.
- Checking and authorisation and monitoring of transactions for corporate clients, SWIFT messaging, transaction reconciliations (nostro breaks).
- Identification and resolution of errors
- Working with Front Office and customers to ensure the smooth running of deals, answering queries and reporting any delayed items to senior staff
- Providing MI and updates on investigations to senior staff
- Tight control of nostro outstanding, controlling the cash funding process
- Development of policies and procedures
