Due to exciting company-wide growth and development, a leading wealth management firm are seeking an experience Equity Analyst to join their London Office. You will be joining a stock-picking fund, investing in companies of all sizes, but specialising in company analysis for UK small and mid-cap companies, and will act as a key contributor to the equity selection process.
We are seeking candidates with CFA Level 3 Qualification, and strong Bloomberg and FactSet skills.
Duties of the Equity Analyst to include:
- Generate stock ideas and make recommendations to the UK Stock Selection and Overseas Equities Committee.
- Dedicated analyst on a unit trust product with a quality growth style, providing in depth stock-specific analysis across FTSE All-Share and AIM indices.
- Producing research on Recommended stocks, incorporating details financial analysis and valuation work.
- Arrange and conduct meetings with company management, alone and as part of a small team.
- Integrate consideration of material and relevant ESG risk and opportunities into equity analysis.
- Build relationships with external brokers and research providers.
- Provide written and verbal equity reports and models for the fund manager.
Requirements for the successful Equity Analyst to include:
- Minimum five years’ experience as an investment analyst.
- CFA Level 3 qualified
- Previous experience of UK small and mid cap equities, IPOs
- Strong knowledge of Excel, Bloomberg, FactSet
- Previous Financial Modelling experience is essential
