Due to growth and expansion an exciting opportunity has arisen to join a pioneering Fintech company, as they seek a PR Manager to join their team in London. With lots of exciting growth within the company, this firm is seeking a candidate to play a crucial role in this next stage. You will be responsible for managing and delivering a UK PR strategy, positioning the company at the forefront of the industry amongst potential customers and investors.
Duties of the PR Manager to include:
- Working alongside the PR team to coordinate a more proactive approach to developing B2B and B2C PR plans for new partnerships, products and strategies.
- Writing exciting, clear and compelling content, working closely with the SEO team to increase backlinking efforts
- Supporting senior staff in the UK team with media issues and reputational risks
- Communications beyond just media relations. This will include blog writing, managing social channels and responding to online reviews.
- Building high-profile and positive perceptions of the company and its mission amongst all audiences through brand PR activations.
Requirements for the successful PR Manager:
- Previous experience in a similar role is essential. This will be for a minimum of 3 years either at a relevant agency or in-house
- A strong pitcher of PR stories with an excellent understanding of how UK press works
- A network of journalists and specialists, ideally those who have previously published work of yours
- Ability to work enthusiastically to tight timeframes.
