Accounts Administrator (AAT) – Trusts

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join a highly regarded wealth management firm in Liverpool, as they seek a qualified Accounts Administrator to provide support to the Trust Company. You will be working to ensure that all client data is accurate, and up to date, as well as all bank transactions. This is a fantastic opportunity for proactive and driven candidates who are seeking to join a highly prestigious financial services company.

Duties of the Accounts Administrator to include:
  • Maintaining the sub-ledger records for bank receipts, internal payment transfers and disbursements. You will also be responsible for liaising with the Finance team at month end to ensure the timely closure of the subledger
  • Maintaining and updating charge-out rates and monitoring the completion of fee-earners timesheets. You will also communicate with fee-earners with regards to fee collection
  • Updating client records, ensuring all are accurate and that data is cleansed and monitored consistently.
  • Conducting WIP and Debtor reviews with relevant fee-earners and then liaising with Finance accordingly.
  • Ensuring the correct and timely client charging and efficient company income by operating the processes for receipt of adviser charges

Requirements for the successful Accounts Administrator:
  • Professional qualifications, such as AAT are essential
  • At least 1 year’s experience in a corporate environment recording bank transactions
  • Strong Excel knowledge (including VLOOKUP and Pivot tables)
  • Strong numeracy and communication skills with a demonstrable ability to work proactively
