A highly prestigious private bank in the City of London is seeking FOUR experienced Payments Clerks to join their dynamic team. As a Payments Clerk, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless processing of various payment methods, including SWIFT, BACS, CHAPS, and Faster Payments.
????Duties of the Payments Clerk to include:
- Process and validate incoming and outgoing payments using SWIFT, BACS, CHAPS, SEP, and Faster Payments systems.
- Verify payment details, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory guidelines.
- Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies and issues promptly and efficiently.
- Foreign cheque collection and outward payments
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of payment regulations and industry best practices.
- Credit clearing
- Checking Standing Orders and Direct Debit origination.
????What we need from you:
- Previous processing experience with SWIFT, BACS, CHAPS and Faster payments is essential
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in processing payments.
- Previous experience within the banking or financial services sector
- Excellent communication skills with the highest level of customer service skills
