An exciting new opportunity has arisen at a rapidly expanding Lloyd’s Syndicate for Senior Compliance Analyst to join their team! You will be working to ensure compliance with all internal policies, law and regulations applicable to the company’s activities, including activities regulated and authorized by the PRA, the FCA and Lloyd’s This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing and developing company with big plans for 2024!
Duties of the Senior Compliance Analyst to include:- Support meeting regulatory requirements for LSL and LUK.
- Assist in delivering Compliance Plans and provide advice to the business on compliance related queries
- Contribute to MI and packs for committees.
- To assist in the completion and submission of regulatory returns (including Lloyd’s)
- To facilitate the broker approval process and maintain TOBAs
- Support regular compliance monitoring, including Lloyd’s Europe, Licensing, and Horizon Scanning.
- Maintain regulatory timetables, exceptions system, sanctions screening, and broker management systems.
Requirements for the successful Senior Compliance Analyst:
- Educted to Degree level ideally in Law (LLB degree)
- 2-3 years of Lloyd’s Managing Agent compliance experience.
- Knowledge and experience of operation of the London insurance market (e.g. knowledge of its participants and regulatory requirements)
- Strong knowledge of US, EU, and UK Sanction regimes.
- Excellent report writing skills and ability to work to tight deadlines.
