Are you passionate about data governance and ready for a dynamic challenge? We are seeking a skilled Data Governance Support Analyst to play a vital role at this leading international bank based in the heart of London. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in supporting data governance initiatives, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and fostering effective collaboration between teams.
Duties of the Data Governance Analyst to include:
- Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining data governance policies and procedures.
- Provide support to teams to ensure understanding and compliance with data governance standards.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and address data governance issues.
- Participate in data quality assessments and support initiatives to improve data quality.
- Contribute to creating and maintaining documentation related to the data governance process.
- Assist in conducting training sessions to educate teams on data governance best practices.
- Collaborate with ITD to facilitate the implementation of data governance tools and technologies.
- Monitor and report on KPIs related to data governance activities.
What we need from you:
- Educted to University Undergraduate level in a relevant field (e.g. Information Management, Computer Science etc)
- Candidates should have a basic understanding of data governance principles and demonstrate a willingness to learn.
- Advanced MS Excel skills are essential
- Familiarity with T24, SQL, and Power BI highly advantageous
- Previous experience in a financial and regulatory reporting in banking and / or accounting sectors
