Are you a highly organised and client-focused professional with a passion for supporting financial planning? Our client, a leading investment management financial advisory firm, is seeking a dedicated Client Service Executive to join their dynamic Financial Planning team.
In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the seamless delivery of exceptional service to our valued clients, working closely with Financial Planners to maintain continuity and completeness of advice. Key Responsibilities for the Financial Planning Client Service Executive to include:
- Client Relationship Support: Proactively engage with clients to ensure they are up-to-date on ongoing matters, adhering to MiFID II procedures and maintaining a high standard of client communication.
- Financial Planning Assistance: Efficiently assist Financial Planners in preparing comprehensive financial advice across investments, pension planning, inheritance tax, and estate planning.
- Coordinate workflows with Financial Planners, Paraplanners, and other internal teams to ensure timely and accurate service delivery.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Foster strong relationships with Investment Managers, clients, external providers, and all other key stakeholders.
- Effectively manage individual and team workloads, prioritising tasks to meet deadlines.
- Provide essential administrative support to Financial Planners.
- Business Processing: Accurately process new business applications and supporting documentation, ensuring timely feedback to clients, Investment Managers, and Financial Planners.
- Record Keeping & Systems Management: Maintain impeccable client records and internal CRM systems in strict accordance with firm procedures.
- Compliance & Risk Adherence: Diligently follow all regulatory requirements, including internal procedures and training for Anti-Money Laundering (AML), complaints handling, and MiFID II.
- Team Collaboration & Development: Actively participate in team communications and meetings, completing actions promptly. Provide support, guidance, and training to other team members as required.
Requirements for the successful Client Service Executive (Financial Planning) to include:
- Client-Centric Approach: A deep understanding of client and Investment Manager expectations, with a strong commitment to delivering outstanding service.
- Exceptional Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of building rapport and conveying complex information clearly.
- Regulatory Awareness: Ability to apply compliance knowledge, particularly concerning MiFID II and AML regulations.
- Financial Services Acumen: A good understanding of Financial Services administration practices. Knowledge of Discretionary Fund Management (DFM) would be beneficial but is not essential.
- Relevant Experience: Demonstrated experience in a similar role where the above skills were frequently applied.
- Professional Development: Completion of CII (Chartered Insurance Institute) exams is beneficial but not essential.
